How is Hey Monika different from a bookkeeping course?

Most courses and qualifications teach you the theory: debits, credits, and the rules. Hey Monika teaches you the practice: what to do when a client sends you a messy spreadsheet, how to build a dashboard that makes sense, or how to answer when a client asks, “Why is my cashflow so tight this month?”

Instead of passively watching videos, or working through text book exercises, you work through realistic client scenarios. You’ll sort data, use Excel formulas, reconcile accounts, and then practise explaining your findings. It feels like work experience, but it’s flexible and you can do it from home, at your own pace.
