Hey Monika was created by a team of award-winning bookkeepers, accountants, and educators who’ve all faced the same challenge our users do — that moment when you’re qualified but not yet confident.

Between us, we’ve built and sold bookkeeping and accounting firms, trained hundreds of professionals, advised leading software companies, and supported a global community of bookkeepers. But more than anything, we share one mission: to make practical, confidence-building work experience accessible to every aspiring accountant and bookkeeper.
Hey Monika is our way of giving back to the profession that shaped us — a safe, supportive space to practise real bookkeeping, guided by AI and grounded in real-world expertise.
