How do I get help if I’m stuck?

There are three main ways to get help inside Hey Monika:
Ask Monika (your AI mentor) Each scenario includes an Ask Monika box. This is your first stop if you’re unsure what to do next. You can ask Monika questions in plain English, just as you would with a tutor or colleague. She won’t just hand over the full answer—instead she’ll guide you towards the right approach, helping you build confidence in solving the problem yourself.
Example questions you could ask Monika:
“What should I check first if my cash doesn’t match the bank balance?”
“How do I know whether this expense is personal or business?”
Support Videos and Documents Each client scenario includes built-in support documents and, where appropriate, walk through videos and model answers. These are there so you can check your work and understand what “good” looks like.
Support Team If you have a technical issue (for example, you can’t log in, or a document won’t load), you can contact our support team at support@heymonika.com. We can’t provide answers to bookkeeping questions, but we’re always here to help if something in the platform isn’t working as it should.
In real life, bookkeepers don’t always know the answer right away—they know how to ask good questions and find the information they need. The more you use Monika and the walkthroughs, the more natural this will feel when you’re dealing with real clients.
